Dress Code

Option #1

  • Shirts - with embroidered LCA branding in any solid color/style shirt

  • Bottoms - skirts, shorts, pants, jumpers in khaki, gray, black, navy

  • Sweatshirts - LCA branded or embroidered only

  • Lands End school apparel approved

Option #2

  • Shirts - SOLID polo or oxford without LCA branding/embroidery in approved (school colors only)

  • Bottoms - same as Option #1 and may include blue jeans

  • Sweatshirts - MUST be solid (school colors without pictures or graphics)

Additional Information

  • Vinyl branding is not an option please choose embroidery or solid plain school approved color polos

  • One embroidered shirt is required for each student K5-12th grade. This is a non-negotiable as this item will likely be used for special events and dress-up days.

  • School shirts required under sweatshirts

  • Uniform shorts or skirts no more than 3 inches above the knee may be worn.

  • Dress down Friday is observed (guidelines listed below)

  • No holes in clothes, including jeans

Jeans on a Rack

The decision to add plain, solid polos and the allowance of blue jeans as an optional part of the daily uniform comes from the results of the parent survey which indicated a desire for us to maintain tradition while eliminating unnecessary roadblocks for families.

Casual Day Guidelines

  • Students will be allowed to wear jeans, sweatpants, joggers, and athletic pants on Casual Days.

  • Blue jeans should be clean and neat and without holes!

  • NO CROCS or SANDALS at any time.

  • Shorts or skirts no more than 3 inches above the knee may be worn.

  • Students are not permitted to wear spaghetti strap halter style tops, tank tops, or sheer or see-through shirts.

  • No immoral branding or promotion of immoral activity is permitted on clothing.

  • Sleeveless tops are permitted provided the top is three fingers wide on the top of each shoulder.

  • Non-uniform shirts/sweatshirts are permitted.

  • Leggings, and yoga pants are not permitted.

  • Legacy spirit wear is always encouraged.

 

Please note

  • The first time a student is out of Casual Day dress code, the parent will be called to bring in a change of clothes. They will not be allowed to return to class until the parent brings in a change of clothes.

  • The second time a student is out of Casual Day dress code, the parent will be called to bring in a school uniform, and the student will lose the privilege of participating in Casual Day dress down for the remainder of the semester.

  • Any student out of dress code for the second time on Casual Day will not be allowed to return to class until the parent brings in a school uniform.
